MARTIAL LAW

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

Flirting with Che chic? Well, if they can make the Eight Doctor a sodding football fan, anything's possible! Inspired (well, vaguely) by "Revolution Man".

PANDORA

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

The concept behind this was the slightly cliched one of a sentient AI robot brought up like a human, which I called Pandora and visualised as Patsy Kensit in the kids' sci-fi series "Luna" (for nostalgic reasons, mostly)

ARCHIVES OF PAIN

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

The conclusion to my Infinites trilogy, which sees them older and wearier and wanting to be put out of their misery. The aged Infinites are here Malcolm McDowell, Ian McDiarmid and David Hemmings. I'm not entirely happy with the composition of the head shots but long ago lost the background image and source pictures, alas.

ASTRONOMY DOMINE

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

McGann's Byron-ish Doctor seems to work quite well in covers with an old-world feeling, and I think that this cover comes the closest to resembling an actual BBC Book. It's pseudo-historical, and the title comes from an early Pink Floyd song - hang about, "Domine"? But that's Latin for...

BAHNHOF ZOO

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

As with "Art Decade", my Berlin fetish raises its head! I seem to vaguely recall a rather drunken idea about a time hole in Berlin's Zoo Station bridging 1977 and 2003 (ie before and after the fall of the wall) The spooky-looking young girl is from the German film "Christiane F., Wir Kinder Vom Bahnhof Zoo". (We, Children Of Zoo Station)

STARFALL SEVEN

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

I'm not too sure how the chronology works between the solar flares and the first break-out, but this started out as a retcon cover, dealing with the two colonies Starfall Seven ("Face of Evil") and GalSec Seven ("Sontaran Experiment"). That's McGann wearing a GalSec spacesuit, Richard O'Brien looking Federation-esque, and a composite of Christien Anholt (of "Relic Hunter", and Perkins in "Curse Of Fenric") wearing a Space Marine Corps suit from "Death To The Daleks" (see thumbnail, right)

WE ARE THE DEAD

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

Another morbid Bowie song title with a funereal marble background (see "Sense of Doubt" on the Second Doctor page)

REMEMBER ATLANTIS

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

I'll be the first to admit that this a bit de trop. But it IS very pretty. I don't know what I was on when I dreamt this up!

THE VAMPIRE MUTATIONS

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

"The Vampire Mutations" was the working title for "State Of Decay". Taking this as the basis for a cover inspiration, I went with the theory (in "Goth Opera") of the 'Cult of Rassilon the Vampire', or perhaps based on the Dronid schism...

DEATH TO THE DOCTORS

This is the latest in a series of original adventures for the eighth Doctor.

...Or "The Eight Doctors" as it should have been done!
